Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy

The RCSLT is the professional body for speech and language therapy in the UK, representing speech and language therapists, support workers and students. The RCSLT works with members to represent the profession at the highest levels. It consults with governments, other professional bodies, unions, universities, charity partners and commissioning authorities on behalf of its members, so your views are heard where it counts. As a member, your views and experiences can help shape the development of future UK and international policy.


Association of Speech and Language Therapist in Independent Practice

Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice - ASLTIP. ASLTIP has two main functions:To provide information on independent Speech and Language Therapy throughout the United Kingdom  and to  support Speech and Language Therapists in independent practice.


The Communication Trust

Their work focuses on supporting children and young people who struggle to communicate because they have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) as well as supporting all children and young people to communicate to the best of their ability.




I CAN is the children’s communication charity. They are experts in helping children develop the speech, language and communication skills they need to thrive in a 21st century world. Their vision is a world where all children have the communication skills they need to fulfill their potential. Their mission is that no child should be left out or left behind because of a difficulty speaking or understanding.


The National Autistic Society

They are the leading UK charity for people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families. They provide information, support and pioneering services, and campaign for a better world for people with autism. Their work relies on your support.


The Michael Palin Centre

The Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children was officially opened in 1993 as a joint initiative between the then Association for Research into Stammering in Childhood (ARSC) and the then Camden & Islington Community Health Services NHS Trust.


The Jai Jais

Sunita has created a beautifully illustrated series of books on Hindu Gods and Goddess for pre-school children.  The books have inspired bed times stories around the world.
